The Kei Islands are situated in Maluku Province. Administratively, the Kei Islands are divided into two regions: Maluku Tenggara Regency (Southeast Maluku) and Tual City. This region, also known as Nuhu Evav, holds captivating natural and cultural beauty, including Ngurbloat Beach with the softest sand in the world, the Ngurtavur sandbar, Bair Island with its stunning lagoon, Hawang Cave with its fresh water and local legend, and Kei Besar Island, which boasts hundreds of waterfalls.
